ABOUT ELLIS HAMILTON

Multi-instrumentalist musician, composer, and performer Ellis Hamilton continues to make his mark in the world of smooth jazz as a Billboard Top 10 Year-End Chart holder, as well as a Mediabase Top 5 Year-End Chart holder. Ellis is an engaging and passionate musician who has performed as a solo artist and with ensembles and bands around the world, including with his mentor, Grammy-nominated, award-winning jazz musician, Najee. He also headlined the Barbados Jazz Society’s 2024 International Jazz Day. 

Ellis’s debut single, My Heart To Yours, climbed the charts to #1 on Billboard, Mediabase, and Smooth Jazz Network. His second single, Intuition, featuring Najee, quickly climbed the charts as well.

Ellis has been a featured soloist on many artists’ recordings, composed the scores for several short films, and served as Music Director for community theater productions in Northern Virginia. Always eager to share his passion and instill a love of music in young musicians, Ellis has served as a guest lecturer for high school and college students. As a guest soloist with the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, he arranged and orchestrated his original composition, Possibilities.

Ellis graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a dual degree in Film Scoring and Saxophone Performance.
